At the ripe age of 31, I’ll admit, I’m yet to make and follow through with a New Year’s Resolution. Instead of torturing myself by saying “2016 is the year I finally BLOG!” I’m just going to start out by trying to blog once a month. If I squeeze more in there, then alleluia, because if there’s one thing I’m worse at than New Year’s Resolutions… it’s blogging. There! I’ve said it! Fweew! :)
So on that note, I wanted to say goodbye to 2015, hello to 2016 by sharing the amazing Fall Mini Sessions we had!! If you were part of these, then you understand my excitement!! The weather could not have been more completely perfect, which I think you can tell from everyone’s wardrobes! If I recall, just 2 years ago some of these same people were warming up in their cars and quickly running out to me for a few (extremely) quick shots before they were icicles again!! (Thank you Polar Vortex…) So while it’s back to a typical 20 degree January day today, sit back with a cup of joe and enjoy some warm images!
2015 Fall Mini Session Recap
I love getting to capture memories like these for my fellow Photogs. Just like other professions, Photographers typically have very few of their OWN family portraits! We’ve tried to fix this for each other the past few years and I’ve so loved watching their kids grow!
One of my beautiful besties. This family is gorgeous inside and out, even when little ones get sleepy!! I always tell parents not to fret… I will get what I need one way or another! lol. Adore them all.
I was absolutely ecstatic when mom wrote me asking if I was doing these sessions again because they recently added to the family! Luckily, my first date was rained out because they were able to join the fun for the reschedule date. How perfect are they!? The sun was absolutely stunning!
I can’t say enough how much I enjoyed this one. I love (and I genuinely mean LOVE) when people include their pooches. It often takes just a little more time and patience, but the outcomes…. SO worth it. These boys just adore their dog, and I do believe the feelings were mutual for her as well.
I save this for last because I just opened an email the other day saying they’re getting MARRIED!! And to that I have one word… FINALLY!!!! LOL. Anyone who knows them knows that it’s so right and so time to make this official. It seems like just yesterday I was entertaining her daughter’s little birthday party with a super fun “diva photo shoot”!! How time flies. <3
Bring it on 2016!! We’re READY!
